Take the second exit 333 off of Interstate 90. Turn left when you come to the intersection. You are now on Highway 89 South. Stay on Highway 89 South for approximately three miles. There will be a sign on the right of Highway 89 designating Carters Bridge. Turn left and cross the river. You are now on the old highway called Highway 540 or the East River Road. Continue South on Highway 540 for about 7 miles until you come to Pine Creek Cafe. Continue past Pine Creek Cafe for approximately five more miles. There will be a Loch Leven Fishing Access sign turn right at this sign. Go down the fishing access gravel road staying left about three quarters of a mile until you get to fire number 83 which is located on the red fence. There is also a small barn on your left next to the gravel road. Turn left down the private drive (fire number 83) and the cabin is back against the river.
